How I Work:
It’s not my design; it is yours. Many folks choose a designer based on the designers’ personal style. For instance, if they hire Fancy Schmancy to design their home they want it to look like a Fancy Shmancy Design. I do not work like this. I want your home to be a direct reflection of you. On my initial visit I often look for something that is uniquely you. A photograph, piece of art, family heirloom, etc. This usually starts a conversation. Which leads to me getting to know you. I try to build your home design around you. I want guests to enter your home and see it as a direct reflection of you, but you with fantastic taste.
In order to do this I think it is important to show you a true representation of what we are hoping to create. This involves realistic renderings. Please see examples of this below. This also helps me through the design process. I cannot create based on lifeless drawings.
The final product should look like you, not me. It would be flattering for folks to recognize my work as the work of Traci French, but this is not my priority. As you look at my work below, I think you will get a glimpse into the lives and personalities of the people I have worked with…which means I have done my job.
